The most popular song of Metallica and one of the greatest songs in the history of Rock. – One from the album ...And Justice for All. "One" was written in November 1987 by Metallica's lead voice James Hetfield. One is the first video ever filmed for Metallica and it won a Grammy award in 1990 for Best Metal Performance. The video was directed by Bill Pope and Michael Salomon, and was aired at MTV in January of 1989.
